Auburn Scallon is a freelance writer inspired by travel, entertainment, food and all other elements of “la dolce vita.” She is the online editor for Ins&Outs Magazine (www.licmagazine.com) based in Long Island City and has contributed to Dance Teacher and Dance Spirit magazines as well as Australia’s Brisbane Courier Mail. She has worked with a number of online publications including www.shiftdrink.com, www.skuawk.com, and Gear Live Media, and acts as a press consultant for the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company (www.lacontemporarydance.org). Her passion for travel has taken this Seattle-born girl to the Bahamas, Greece, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and all over Europe but there will always be a piece of her heart in Manhattan.
