Pat Fortunato

As a writer, editor, and book packager, Pat Fortunato has worked with publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Random House and Harper Collins. Her company, Mega-Books, produced Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and Bobbsey Twins and many other series, fiction and nonfiction. Before Mega, Pat produced “Lucky Day”, a syndicated newspaper feature for children, edited The Electric Company Magazine for Children’s Television Workshop, and created Muppet Magazine for Jim Hensen. Her books include The Official Kids’ Survival Kit, When We Were Young: An Album of Stars, and All Around the Construction Site, coming out this spring. Pat writes the “Laugh Lines” feature for Woman Around Town and has a humor blog for women: ICANTBELIEVEIMNOTBITTER.com.
