Stephanie Russell-Kraft is originally from San Diego, California. She has recently found a new home in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, although she periodically confronts the urge to pack up all her clothes and move back to Europe, where her family and a considerable part of her heart live. She holds a degree in Comparative Literature and Society from Columbia University, and loves to write about food, travel, and language.
