Veronica Manlow (PhD Sociology) is a professor of economics at Brooklyn College who does research on organizational structure, culture, leadership, networks, and on the creative process of design and marketing within firms in the fashion industry. Her current research involves branding, the role of fashion and luxury in the global economy, and research on networks within voluntary organizations. She is the author of “Designing Clothes: Culture and Organization of the Fashion Industry,” published in 2007 by Transaction Publishers.
