To add to your gustatory enjoyment, renowned Sommelier and Wine Educator Charlie Arturaola will be on hand to mix, mingle, and share his vast knowledge of and passion for wine with guests. Additionally, wine columnist from The Washington Post – Dave McIntyre; wine writer and educator Kelly Magyarics, and Sommelier Andrew Stover will be leading wine tastings and serving as wine ambassadors for the event all weekend long.
This year, while enjoying the delicious food and wine pairings, the Masters will also feature an original collection of oil paintings by local Virginia artist Christopher Mize. His collection, on display now through June 5th, can be seen in the Park Hyatt’s lounge as well as The Blue Duck Tavern, so even if you can’t make it to the Masters Food & Wine weekend, you can head downtown for happy hour or dinner at The Blue Duck and enjoy artwork inspired by the event.
