SAVOR—A Gastromonic Event Benefiting GMHC

On March 8th, Gotham Hall New York City, with its phenomenal seven-story turn-of-the-century gilded Ballroom, housed SAVOR, the annual gastronomic fundraising event benefiting the Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC). This year’s event, “Passing the Whisk, A Culinary Relay,” featured guest judges from Food Network’s Chopped and guest chefs from some of New York’s most magnificent restaurants. Food aside, the venue and décor, clearly, were stars of the evening with dramatic lighting, ceiling architecture with a brilliant chandelier, balconies overlooking the opulent Ballroom and best of all, topiaries crafted from bell peppers and salad fixings – a culinary wonderland – adorning the lavish table settings!

The evening was hosted and chaired by Chopped Celebrity Chef Ted Allen.
