A stroll up Fifth and Madison during the Christmas season is always a treat. Between the windows, the throngs, the inviting interiors, the trees festooned with lights, you remember why it’s so great to live in New York. Jewels and Food seem to predominate in this year’s Christmas windows north of 55th Street. Also, as always, nostalgia. The windows may be less over-the-top than other years, but always fun, and always inventive. Go check it out yourself!
