Park Hyatt 57th Presidential Inaugural Package

Room at Park Hyatt

While most of America is thinking about which candidate they will vote for on November 6, Washington hotels are planning exactly how to accommodate the swarms of people that will land in the nation’s capital the weekend of January 18-22, 2013. Red carpets are being rolled out, menus are being planned, and personal stylists are pulling out their most stylish winter pieces. So you don’t remember this type of service during your visit to Washington back in 2009? Neither do I, but that may be because no one told us that for $57,000 we could experience an inaugural weekend that would not only be memorable, but also truly fabulous and luxurious. Park Hyatt Washington is offering a 57th Presidential Inaugural Package that will make you the envy of all of your friends. What exactly does $57, 000 get you? Well, join me as I highlight some of the luxurious amenities and services that you will receive in this exclusive package.

First, we will need to make a call to the newly renovated, gorgeous Park Hyatt Washington; they will book us in their one bedroom signature presidential suite that is adorned in clean, modern American decor.

The suite itself is perched on the 10th floor with over 1600 square feet of living space including furniture, a baby grand piano, modern American art, an office, views of Washington, and a dining table that seats 12. It has a modern yet rustic and cozy feel and you won’t actually feel like you’re in a hotel at all….it really feels like home.

Next, chauffeured transportation awaits you as you descend from your flight for all airport transfers and ground transportation for the weekend.

Upon hotel arrival, you will first be greeted by your butler for the weekend, someone who will be available around the clock for your every wish and command.

Even to draw down your bath! As soon as you booked, a Saks Fifth Avenue stylist would have contacted you to get your personal style preferences and sizes.

From Prada to Alexander McQueen, a glamorous wardrobe will be awaiting you upon arrival (NOTE: the stylist is included, the wardrobe is extra). Not only will Saks furnish your wardrobe, but the store has also outfitted the hotel room with décor and accessories including everything from red apple accents to cheese cutting boards and knives. Not an American detail will be forgotten. Everything will be available for purchase at the end of your stay.

To keep with the American theme, everything from the wine to the Windsor style timber rocking chair you will receive upon your return home is all American. Park Hyatt’s cheese specialist, Lisa Hviding, will host you and up to 11 friends to an exclusive tasting that includes cured meats, Pinot Noir, American cheeses and many accompaniments. In addition, Blue Duck Tavern’s executive chef, Sebastien Archambault will host a five course meal for up to 12 people at the chef’s private table.

So did you say you have dreams of being cultured? Well fret not, because as a part of this package, on January 18 you will be chauffeured to the Kennedy Center where a private back stage tour and box seats await you to enjoy a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra.

The best part of this luxurious weekend is the chance to give back. The Park Hyatt Washington will contribute a minimum of $500 to the United Service Organization. There is nothing more heartwarming than celebrating for a cause!

Well this ends our stroll down the Park Hyatt Washington’s 57th Inaugural Weekend Package; I have only highlighted some of the many amenities and services of this grand package. So if you do in fact plan on being in Washington for the 57th Presidential Inauguration Weekend, then the Park Hyatt is waiting to roll out the red carpet!
