A beautiful Saturday with warm weather and a good breeze, what could be better? How about the perfect weather while watching your team win in a shiny new stadium? Such was my Saturday! This past Saturday I took two of my most favorite people to see a good ol’ fashion baseball game. My companions told me to be prepared for the beauty that is the new Citi Field Stadium. Yet, once I got off the 7 train, packed with fellow Met fans, I still was not prepared.

The Mets’ new home is stunning! Everything’s shiny! New! The Jackie Robinson Rotunda is the first thing you see, a huge building holding the Mets store and the escalators to the upper levels. The entire stadium is an open space, level upon level of sunshine and breeze with a roof to cover you as you walk around and enjoy the view. The shape and design make you feel close to the filed.There is no such thing as a bad seat. So if you want a good place to take friends, or family or just to go by yourself to enjoy a ball game with wonderful views for an inexpensive price, Citi Field is the place!
