This Year’s Best Maillots—One Piece Bathing Suits

bathing suit featured

Not wearing bikinis did nothing to diminish the sex appeal of Ava Gardner, Betty Grable, Lana Turner, or Jane Russell. Your figure can be seen in all its glory; classes were not for naught. A bit of hidden skin means something is left to the imagination. These days, unless you’re on a team, one piece suits most often have built-in shaping and, let’s face it, who can’t use a little help to smooth out and tighten? There’s a lot to be said for the style of old fashioned glamour.

Below Left to Right:

Gottex Molded Cup Halter One Piece -Fresh and natural looking. For women who live in cottons and bare feet. Pull on your jeans or a gauze maxi skirt for a finished summer look. Marc by Marc Jacobs Colorblock Peplum Maillot - On trend, but classically-no neon here. A ladylike suit. A nice selection of suits. It is interesting while the trend seems to be on some more coverage in swimsuits the models’ body types remain the same (those legs must be airbrushed!!).
