We love vintage. But we also love newly-created fashions. What we love best it to combine the two. Red, a fabulous boutique on East 7^th Street, understands our needs. The store is a brilliant mix of contemporary fashion and vintage finds. And with many items in Valentine red, this shop is the perfect place to visit for a romantic outfit for February 14.

The beautiful red dress in the window caught our eye and drew us in. Designer Donatella Quintavalle creates beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices. Artfully displayed in a case in the front of the shop, you will find Donatella’s creations mixed in with vintage finds. There is a wall display of necklaces that will dress up any outfit.

We perused the vintage racks in the rear of the store where items were discounted. A lovely vintage lace blouse was just $20, a black wool dress, $40. And there were several red dresses, suits, and blouses for a Happy Valentine’s day outfit.
