Connie Donahue is a historian, a former college lecturer and university administrator, a copyeditor, an artist, and a student of Italian cuisine. Ms. Donahue holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts (in US history) from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Arts from UC San Diego. She has conducted research on black politics and has presented her work at professional conferences. She also has been active in the digitization of historical records, community representation in the public library system, and school fundraising. Ms. Donahue is a Cleveland native, but she has lived in Toronto, San Diego, Virginia, and Louisiana.
