Get Ready – Restaurant Week and Broadway Week Are January 17 to February 12

Get ready for some of the best events in town. NYC Restaurant Week kicks off on January 17 and lasts for four weeks until February 12.  Good news for our readers.  Broadway Week, that offers two for one tickets for shows on the Great White Way, is also scheduled for the exact same dates. You can enjoy a great day out with a show and a meal! In addition, NYC Must-See Week also returns from January 17 through February 12. You can purchase two for one tickets on attractions, tours, museums and performing arts across the five boroughs. (Click for more information.) Booking opens January 10.

During NYC Restaurant Week, two-course lunches and three-course dinners start at $30. There are cuisine types to suit all tastes, styles, and dietary preferences with global cuisine, plant based fare, and traditional menus. Guests should note that taxes, beverages, and tips are additional. 

The weeks offer hundreds of inviting dining destinations throughout the five boroughs. Some restaurants even serve Sunday lunch/brunch and Sunday dinner. Whether you choose to visit a new spot or a favorite in your neighborhood, NYC Restaurant Week visits promises to be a pleasure. 

NYC Restaurant week started in 1992 as a one-time event to welcome the Democratic National Convention that was being held in the city. The program became so popular among New Yorkers that it has continued for over 30 years to allow people to visit the city’s wonderful restaurants. 

Broadway Week is a terrific deal and features a number of shows that have been very popular including The Book of Mormon, MJ The Musical, Hamilton and Six. It’s also an ideal time to introduce young people to the joy of top-notch entertainment. There are family favorites available such as The Lion King, Wicked, and Aladdin
