St. Patrick’s Day Cocktail Recipes-Raise a Glass to All Things Irish

Hello March!  As we look forward to springtime, you may also be embracing the luck of the Irish with a St. Patrick’s Day celebration or viewing one of the many parades that happen in the metro area. Whether you are hosting a party or proposing a toast to the Irish spirit, here’s a lineup of four festive, unforgettable cocktails that you can make at home.  No need to visit the pub! Impress family and friends with your mixology skills when you create these festive drinks. 

Luck be a Clover

Ingredients:

-1.5 oz Keeper’s Heart Irish + American Whiskey
-1.25 oz Midori 
-3/4 oz lemon juice
-1 egg white (optional)
-Garnish: Gold Powder

Method: Shake ingredients, strain into coup, garnish with gold powder

Irish Coffee

Ingredients:

-35 ml The Busker Single Pot Still
-20 ml Demerara Syrup (2:1)
-120 ml Hot Coffee
-Heavy Cream (lightly whipped)

Method: In a heated glass, combine Busker Single Pot Still Whiskey, Demerara Syrup, and Hot Coffee. Stir to combine and dissolve the syrup.  Gently float lightly whipped cream on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Do not stir. Enjoy through the cream.

Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin & Premium Tonic

Ingredients:

-1.5 oz Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
-Top off with premium chilled tonic water
-Garnish: Wedge of red grapefruit

Method: Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the gin and top off with premium chilled tonic water.  Garnish with a thick wedge of red grapefruit

The Perfect Muff & Tonic

Ingredients:

-2 oz Muff Irish Gin
-Top with premium Indian tonic
-Garnish: Slice of orange and sprig of rosemary

Method: Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the gin and top off with premium chilled tonic water.  Garnish with a slice of orange and sprig of rosemary
