Poet’s Corner – One Moment at a Time

One moment at a time
the wise soul said
Plan for now
Hour to hour
No map ahead

Remove expectations of times known to be
The past is no longer present
Only look and see

Take time to observe the small and silent
Beyond your steps listen
Bach and Chopin soothes
Creating fresh hues

Easing into the natural world
Create a world of wonder
Hold sunlight in your palm and spill it around
Yonder

The planets and stars are constant
Light years away
A new novel
The ending unknown
Shaping into a page a day
