Cocktail Hour – Getting it Right For Summer Soirees 

Knowing how to mix a great cocktail takes a little practice and top-notch ingredients.  We have gathered some recipes that are just right for summer. Whether you are entertaining or just in the mood for a refreshing sip, Woman Around Town has you covered with seven unique and delightful cocktail recipes courtesy of the spirit producers.

CÎROC Dark Sunset


-1.5 oz. CÎROC Red Berry
-.5 oz. Raspberry liqueur 
-.5 oz. Fresh lemon juice
-.25 oz. Simple syrup
-5 Fresh raspberries
-Top up with soda water

Method: Muddle raspberries. Shake all the ingredients. Strain over ice into a wine glass. Top up with soda. Garnish with an orange twist.

Minty Co-La La


-3/4 oz. Bailey Colada Irish Cream Liqueur
-3/4 oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
-1/2 oz. Puerto Rican Rum
-1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
-1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
-Mint Sprig
-Two Cucumber Rounds

Method: Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice; shake until chilled. Strain into a colada glass over crushed ice. Garnish with Mr. Flower Fantastic’s marigold and mint pineapple floral garnish.

White Peach & Raspberry Margarita


-2 oz. El Bandido Yankee Blanco Tequila
-1.5 oz. white peach syrup
-4-5 muddled raspberries 
-1 tsp. of sugar
-1/2 oz. lime juice

Method: Mix ingredients in a pitcher filled with ice. Pour over a full glass of ice. 

Limone Gintonica


-2 parts Malfy Limone
-5 parts Fever Tree Aromatic Tonic 
-Splash White Vermouth
-Garnishes: Lemon Twist & Oregano Sprig

Method: Build ingredients in a glass over cubed ice and gently stir to combine. garnish with a twist of lemon peel and a sprig of oregano.

Gunpowder Chili Serve


-1.5 oz. Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
-Top off with Chilled Premium Tonic
-Whole Fresh Red Chili Pepper
-Thick Slice of Fresh Mango

Method: Stir and serve ingredients over ice. Top with premium Tonic Water. Garnish with red chili pepper and a slice of fresh mango.

Classic All Purpose Vodka Martini


-2 1/2 oz. of St. George All Purpose Vodka 
-1/2 oz. dry vermouth
-2 bar spoons olive brine
-Castelvetrano olive

Method: Stir vodka, vermouth, and brine with ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with Castelvetrano olive on a skewer.



-2 oz. KLYR Rum
-Top with club soda

Method:  Prepare over ice in a Collins glass and garnish with lemon or lime.
