Mix Your Cocktails With Just a Few Ingredients

Are you in the mood for a good cocktail or after dinner drink? You may think you don’t have all the ingredients, but there are just a few needed, likely ones that you have on hand. It’s easy to delight friends with your mixology talents. Check out these 8 simple recipes and enjoy!

Easy Vodka Refresher

-2 oz. vodka of your choice
-Soda Water
Method: Pour vodka in a rocks glass.  Top with chilled soda water and garnish with lemon or lime.

Vodka Lemonade

-2 oz. vodka
-Fresh squeezed lemonade or lemonade of your choice
Method: Pour vodka in a rocks glass. Top with fresh cold squeezed lemonade or lemonade of your choice. Garnish with lemon or lime.

Royal Cocktail

-1/4 oz of your favorite liquor
-Champagne
Method: Pour your favorite fruity liquor into a flute glass and top up with Champagne. You can garnish it with fruit.

Spritz

-3 oz of Prosecco
-2 oz of your preferred liquor
-1 oz of your preferred liquor

Method: A spritz is easy to prepare using these simple steps. Pour 3 ounces of Prosecco into a glass of ice. Stir in two ounces of your preferred liquor. Top your drink off with one more ounce of liquor and finish with an attractive garnish.

Irish Coffee

-2 tablespoons of Irish whiskey
-¾ cup of your favorite hot black coffee
-1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar (depending on your preference)
-Heavy cream
Method: Pour the hot coffee and whiskey in a mug or warm Irish coffee glass.  Add the sugar and stir to dissolve.  Let the cream float on the top and serve.  

White Russian

-¼ cup vodka
-3 Tablespoons Coffee Liqueur
-3 Tablespoons of half and half
Method: Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.  Add the vodka and coffee liqueur.  Drizzle in the half and half and serve.

Cranberry Lime Cocktail

-1.5 oz of vodka (tequila also works)
-1/2 oz lime juice
-2 oz of cranberry juice cocktail (consider using sparkling juice)
Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled half way with ice and shake well.  Strain into a glass of your choice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Rum Refresher

-2 oz of rum
-2 oz of pineapple juice
-2 oz of orange juice
Method: Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well.  Strain the drink into an attractive glass and garnish with a wedge of pineapple.
