Seven Elegant Cocktails for Easter

As Easter approaches, there’s a lot of planning happening with dinner parties and friends dropping by.  Here’s a selection of seven on-point cocktail recipes perfect for our those looking to elevate their celebrations this year. These recipes are not only delicious, but also easy to create, making them ideal for hosting gatherings or enjoying a relaxing evening at home. Gather your ingredients and start mixing.  These are top-notch drinks are ideal to serve all spring long.

Heartfelt Fizz – Prepare a pitcher of this fizzy passion fruit cocktail, serving 4-6 individuals.

Ingredients:
8 oz Keeper’s Heart Irish + Bourbon
4 oz Fresh-squeezed lemon juice
3 oz Simple syrup
3 oz Chinola passion fruit liqueur
1 bottle Champagne

Method: Pour first three ingredients into a gallon pitcher filled with ice; stir well to chill. Add bottle of Champagne, slowly, and stir very gently and briefly to mix. Serve in Champagne flutes or coupe glasses.

Black Cherry Russian

Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Ballotin Chocolate Cherry Whiskey Cream
½ oz Vodka
½ oz Ballotin Original Chocolate Whiskey
½ oz Coffee Liqueur

Method: Shake with ice and pour over iced rocks glass.

Bourbon Peach Tea

Ingredients: 
2 oz Jeptha Creed Straight 4-Grain Bourbon
1/2 oz Peach Liqueur
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Ne Oublie Black Walnut Bitters
Black Tea
Peaches
Lemon

Method:  Muddle peaches in highball glass. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Stir and top with black tea. Garnish with lemon.

Bella Fragola

Ingredients:
1.75 oz Bottega Fior di Latte
0.5 oz vodka
0.5 oz creme de cacao
1 oz strawberry syrup

Method: Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake until shaker tin is frosted. In a coupe glass, add a swirl of chocolate syrup at the base. Fine strain the mixture from shaker into the glass. Garnish with fresh strawberry slice.

Disaronno Pink Velvet

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Disaronno Velvet
0.5 oz Disaronno Originale
0.5 oz Red Bitter
Pinch of Sea Salt

Method: Add all ingredients into a rocks glass and stir.

Cranberry and Sloe Gin Martini

Ingredients
2 oz. Minke Irish Gin
.5 oz. Sloe Gin
.5 oz. Freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
1 teaspoon Cranberry Jelly

Method: Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker and shake until the shaker is cold. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a few fresh cranberries.

Always Daydreaming  (a punch recipe)

Ingredients:
12oz. Old Elk Straight Blended Bourbon
8 oz. Raspberry Simple Syrup
12oz. Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice (about 3 grapefruits)
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Soda Water or Prosecco to top
Fresh raspberries and mint for garnish

Method: Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Add ice before serving to chill. Pour into a cocktail glass with fresh ice and top with soda water or Prosecco. Garnish with fresh raspberries and mint for some pizzazz! Note: For the Raspberry Simple Syrup – dissolve 1-1 sugar and water with 1 pint of mudded raspberries. Strain and use when chilled.
