Summer Fancy Food Show – Exciting Press and Trade Event of the Season

It’s a wrap, the Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS), the food event of the season for press and trade, was held at the Jacob Javits Center for three exciting days. Thousands of people attended as the show highlighted top food products and trending items in all categories along with the winners of the coveted Sofi Award honoring excellence in specialty food.  In addition the show featured panel discussions, cooking demonstrations, and more. Woman Around Town was there and met a remarkable group of producers and brand representatives that informed us of food and drink products from around the globe.

SFFS is sponsored by the Specialty Food Association (SFA).  Two of their major events during the year are the Winter Fancy Food Show and the Summer Fancy Food Show.  The Association members are specialty food artisans, purveyors, importers, and entrepreneurs, as well as distributors, retailers, and others involved in the specialty food trade. Guided by core values of innovation and inclusivity, SFA supports members and the industry by developing resources, educational programs, and events.

Check out some of the products we enjoyed along with the charming people that we met at the show!
