Time to Spring for Seasonal Cocktail Recipes

With the warm spring weather on the rise and festive summer gatherings ahead, you can develop and show off your mixology skills.  Whether it’s a refreshing drink to toast a special occasion, an artisanal cocktail to kick off dinner, or a nightcap after a busy day, here are 12 recipes that are delightful and easy to create. We have included the spirit websites for your convenience. Stock your home bar, keep these recipes on hand, and start mixing!  

Coffee Margarita

Ingredients:
2 oz. Kilinga Bacanora Reposado 
.5 oz. Coffee Liqueur
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice 

Method: Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake well and strain into a lowball glass. Fill glass with ice, garnish with a lime wheel and serve.

Prosecco Spritz

Ingredients:
3 oz. Avissi Prosecco
2 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Splash of Soda
Garnish: 1 slice of orange

Method: Place ice cubes in a glass. Pour 3 oz of Avissi Prosecco. Follow by pouring 2 oz. of Aperol and 1 oz. of soda. Add slice of orange for garnish.

Zomoz Paloma

Ingredients:
2 oz. Zomoz Mezcal 
½ oz. Lime Juice 
½ oz. Agave Nectar (optional) 
4 oz Q Mixers Grapefruit Soda (or East Imperial Grapefruit Soda) 
Grapefruit Wedge for a garnish 
Salt or Tajin blend to rim glass

Method: Combine all ingredients (except Q Grapefruit Soda), Lightly shake with ice. 
Add Grapefruit Soda and strain into an Old Fashioned glass with its salt rim. Garnish with Grapefruit Wedge.

 Hibiscus Margarita 

Ingredients:
2 oz. Gran Coramino Cristalino
.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.75 oz. Hibiscus Syrup

Method: Shaken, served over ice with a lime garnish. You can also add hibiscus salt to the rim.

Paloma

Ingredients:  
1.5 oz. Mercer + Prince
2 oz. Ocean Spray Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice 
Top w/ Grapefruit Soda (or Soda Water)

Method: Add ingredients into an ice filled Collins glass or Highball glass.

Stir to combine and chill. Garnish with fresh mint and grapefruit.

Spiced Peach Mule

Ingredients:
2 oz. Beach Whiskey Bonfire Cinnamon
.5 oz Peach Puree
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Method: Shake and strain over ice. Top with Ginger Beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and peach slice.

The Photo Finish

Ingredients:

2 oz. Jeptha Creed Straight Four Grain Bourbon 
½ oz. St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
½ oz. Cointreau
2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1 oz. Fresh Pineapple Juice

Method: Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice. Shake thoroughly, and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange wheel.

Sorel Hibiscus Margarita

Ingredients:
.75 oz. Sorel
1.5 oz. Tequila
.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Agave Syrup

Method: Add tequila, Sorel, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with lime.

Busk & Ginger

Ingredients:
1 oz. The Busker Triple Cask Triple Smooth
Top with Ginger Beer
Lime Wedge for garnish

Method:  Fill a highball glass with ice, pour in The Busker and top up with ginger beer. Stir and garnish with a lime wedge.

Super Bloom

Ingredients:
2 oz. Supergay Vodka
1 oz. Cherry Blossom Syrup (we like Haku Sakura Cherry Blossom Shoyu) 
1 oz. White Cranberry Juice
Cherry for garnish

Method: Shake Vodka with cherry blossom syrup and cranberry juice. Pour into a glass and garnish with a cherry.

Think Green

Ingredients:
1.25 oz. Bottega Pistacchio Liqueur  
2.25 oz. Vodka
1 dash absinthe

Method: Combine all ingredients in shaker tin with ice. Shake until tins are frosted. Chill the martini glass and garnish with coconut flakes. Fine strain cocktail into the martini glass. Garnish with crushed pistachio pieces.

Electric Pink Lemonade

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. American Harvest Organic Vodka
3 oz. Pink Lemonade
2 oz. Ginger Beer
Lemon Wedge for Garnish

Method: Build each ingredient in a large wine glass with ice and stir. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
