Macy’s Flower Show in Full Bloom

The 49th Annual Macy’s Flower Show is now being presented at the store’s flagship location in Herald Square and it’s a stunning spring extravaganza that shouldn’t be missed. After you view the elaborate windows on the plaza, plan to spend a good deal of time in the store. The beautifully arranged variety of flowers includes birds of paradise, carnations, azaleas, and so many more. The show is exciting for all those who love horticulture and design. It’s an ideal way to welcome the spring season.

The Macy’s Flower Show will be happening through Sunday, April 7 on the ground floor. Get your camera ready to capture photos of you, family and friends posing with the unique, striking displays.

We love the strawberry theme with bright red flowers that dominate many of the arrangements with a grand crimson one at the store’s main entrance.

There’s a tall tower of ruby and coral blooms in the center aisle that captivates.

And as you progress to the escalators, be sure to walk through the mirrored passageway where you can take unique pics.

Keep an eye out for giant whimsical insects such as the bumblebee, ladybug, butterfly, and others.

Be sure to visit the store’s side aisles with lovely spring arrangements using flowers with bright yellow hues. We especially like the huge green watering cans, a clever reminder to keep our own blooms well watered this spring.

A special immersive feature, “Miss Dior: From Flower to Fragrance,” is on the promenade level through Sunday May 12. The House of Dior invites guests to discover the origins of Christian Dior’s iconic fragrance and his lifelong love of flowers. This area is adorned with magnificent roses.

The beauty of the show inspires you to shop and Macy’s has many go-to floral items for the season and Mother’s Day. We are sure that after one visit to the Macy’s Flower Show will make you want to come back again. The beauty will transport you to a bright, happy place.
