Poet’s Corner: A Painter’s Dream

Slow, lingering and long summer days
Edged in colors.
Bouquets, their perfumed scent flourishes
in a sudden storm.
Garden walks are measured in years
As afternoon dances on empty canvas
And inks in many hues
escape into threads of woven tales.
A painter’s dream.
