Poet’s Corner – Floating Worlds
Beach wind cools
The stifling air.
Turtles hide,
Seagulls rule,
Footprints disappear into seeds
of past thoughts.
Waves roll in foam and spray,
Thundering
Smothering
Sand and coast,
As gathered beachgoers
shelter between floating worlds
Of different times.
