Poet’s Corner – Our Garden Walk

Early morning walk,
Our garden mellows within a sea of lavender and tall grasses.
Purple flowers, in impressionistic colors, gather as familiar pairs
and colorful pansies face us.
Afternoon light is strong and caresses the grass in warmth, and
Nasturtium leaves’ deep souls fill spaces in between.
Our journey approaches pastel skies and solar lights
as evening darkens below a crescent moon-
A garden transformed through a changing light of time.
