Poet’s Corner – Strawberry Sky

Remembering a strawberry sky

Waiting for the supermoon to rise

Only the still night empty of visitors

Is present.

Few stars, the brightest ones, appear

Muted by the grandeur emerging

Rising, rising, lifting further,

I await the expanse of orange light

As wide as the sky itself.

Celestial worlds shrink in comparison

And elevate the senses

In moonlight perfection.
