Poet’s Corner – Trumpet Vine

Unexpected and dangling,

Like shapes of peach or salmon

Flowers trumpet as bells over the fence.

Lifting high above the air

Echoing songs like Bach’s music

Trumpet vines form a unity of voices

Waving in deep warm colors of summer.
