Is there anything more fun than setting up your own sports team? For most people, sport is something that finishes when they’re in high school. They no longer have to take part in gym class any more so other than walking or exercise at the gym because I want to stay fit, people really do sports for fun any more. Sports make you feel fitter and slimmer and they make you feel good about your body, but continuous endurance and strength training can offer plenty of physical benefits. Sports are also simply just fun!

Taking part in regular sport and heading to a pitching net or a batting cage for fun is just something you can do to get together with your friends. Not everything has to be about drinking wine at the wine bar or going for a meal. Although those things are lovely, what’s wrong with getting physical by going rock climbing? Or heading out on a hike and camping overnight while you’re at it? There are so many things that you can do with sports, so even if you’re not a fan of baseball or you’re not a fan of hiking, there will be something out there for you.

What’s even more important though, is sport can make you appreciate your time off in your everyday life. It’s going to alleviate existing conditions, promote healing and allow you to have fun.   • You’re going to produce happy hormones. The first training session that you do in any sport is always going to take it out of you a little more. If you haven’t done sports for awhile, it will make you feel as if you are working so hard and you can’t even catch your breath. The thing is, sports can boost your happiness, and that’s because exercise releases endorphins. These endorphins are needed to make us happy and that happiness also makes us feel grateful.   • You will strengthen your friendships. If you go and exercise with a friend, you’re going to be able to spend time with them and have fun.
